Job Description

As an AI Scientist, you’ll have the opportunity to research innovative solutions in artificial intelligence (AI) for smart infrastructure, develop proofs of concept, and contribute to defining tomorrow’s infrastructure. Our team targets a variety of AI-related research fields, including LLMs, copilots and assistants, surrogate functions, combinatorial optimization, etc.

Job Responsibility

  • Research AI/ML models and algorithms, combinatorial optimization problems
  • Develop proofs of concept using AI
  • Propose or adapt, develop and tests AI/ML algorithms and models using accepted best practices
  • Analyze user challenges, workflows and use cases
  • Keep yourself up to date with the relevant research and scientific literature
  • Provide a technological watch over various areas of AI/ML
  • Prepare reports and presentations on results
  • Present results to peers, internal stakeholders and users

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in machine learning or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience doing research and development in machine learning - including deep learning and advanced techniques
  • Experience with Large Language Models and copilot systems
  • Experience in practical machine learning applications and development
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions in artificial intelligence to resolve concrete and complex challenges
  • Programming experience with tools such as: Python, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LangChain, DSPy
  • Experience with major cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, ElasticSearch, etc.)

Nice to have

  • Experience with solving combinatorial optimization problems, a plus
  • Experience with the development of surrogate functions, a plus
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities using various technologies
  • Curious about problems and solutions
