Job Description

The AI Residency program is an 18 month program targeting people with exceptional technical backgrounds but no professional or PhD experience in AI. This program is suitable for recent graduates in technical disciplines. As part of this program you will work on high impact AI projects at Orbital.

Job Responsibility

  • Scaling up the distributed training of large scale generative models of crystal structures
  • Internal LLM evals for scientific and engineering reasoning
  • RL fine tuning for advanced materials discovery

Requirements

  • Strong mathematics and statistical knowledge, especially linear algebra
