Requirements

Experience of working in the Mechanical / Electrical industry
Knowledge of reading electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams
Mechanical or Electrical trained through time-served or a technical college qualification (e.g. NFQ Level 6 or above)

Job Responsibility

Responsible for the servicing and maintenance of Nordex wind turbines
Carry out general and specialised work including repairs, troubleshooting and fault-finding activities
Responsible for Wind Turbine availability which means physically troubleshooting turbines with low availability on site
Analysing data and other information to be able to create and support implementing action plans that will increase availability in the fleet
On site performance analysis and action plan implementation
Working closely with Technicians and Back Office staff to perform on the job demonstrations
Supporting on site single turbine improvements on problem turbines
Providing on site software & hardware updates
Supporting on-line and on phone technical support
Creating reports on turbine or turbine components
