Job Description

Are you looking for a new challenge? Fancy helping us shape the future of motor insurance? Prima could be the place for you.  Since 2015, we’ve been using our love of data and tech to rethink motor insurance and bring drivers a great experience at a great price. Our story began in Italy, where we’ve quickly become the number one online motor insurance provider. In fact, we’re trusted by over 5 million drivers. And now we’re expanding to help millions more drivers in the UK and Spain. To help fuel that growth, we need an AI Productivity Lead to help Prima’s business functions become significantly more effective through the adoption of AI tools and new ways of working.   This is a business-facing role focused on enabling teams outside product & engineering to use AI safely and effectively in their day-to-day work. Where appropriate you will act as a hands-on builder and early product partner, using AI tools to prototype solutions, validate opportunities, and help turn promising ideas into working capabilities. You will work with supporting business functions to build lightweight solutions and you will know when to hand product opportunities over to existing Product Engineering domains where appropriate.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive AI productivity adoption across business functions by partnering with teams to identify opportunities to improve productivity and effectiveness through AI, supporting the adoption of new tools and ways of working, and creating and leading the AI Business Champions community across functions
  • Push for effective AI usage across the organisation by organising training sessions, demos, playbooks, and knowledge bases that help spread practical best practices within and outside business functions
  • Define and track AI impact by identifying and measuring KPIs, monitoring progress, reporting on outcomes and blockers
  • Prototype solutions and validate opportunities hands-on by using AI tools to build early prototypes, test proof of concepts with users, and identify where lightweight automations, assistants, or internal tools can unlock meaningful value for business support functions, such as compliance, people team, communications, etc
  • Turn promising opportunities into scalable solutions by handing validated opportunities to an existing Product Engineering domain
  • Drive the Prima AI adoption journey, working closely with the Prima leaders and executives

Requirements

  • Experience in product management, business systems, workflow design, or a similar cross-functional role
  • Practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity or build prototypes, automations, or lightweight internal tools
  • Experience using agentic AI coding tools
  • Ability to identify user needs, define use cases, and validate solutions quickly
  • Comfortable working in fast-changing environments
  • Good judgement around risk, data sensitivity, and organisational adoption challenges

Nice to have

  • Experience facilitating training, enablement, or community-building initiatives
  • Experience working with internal tools, workflow automation, or operations platforms
  • Familiarity with product discovery and experimentation practices
  • Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance considerations in AI adoption
  • Experience with cross-functional delivery efforts

What we offer

  • Hybrid working, with a mix of home and office days
  • For up to 30 days per year, work from anywhere
  • Access to learning resources, mentorship and a growth plan tailored to you
  • Private healthcare
  • Gym discounts
  • Wellbeing programs
  • Mental health support
