Luma AI is building the next era of AI with Omni models that can see, hear, and understand the world. Job Responsibility:

  • Architect the backbone of our agentic platform
  • Transform creative, non-deterministic agent behaviors into reliable, scalable systems
  • Build infrastructure that allows complex reasoning engines to serve millions of creators with low latency and high fidelity
  • Build Production-Grade Agents: Architect the backend systems that make agentic workflows scalable, observable, and performant
  • Design Orchestration Layers: Design high-throughput systems capable of managing asynchronous multi-step tasks across video generation and reasoning models
  • Build Reliability in Chaos: Build frameworks to manage the non-deterministic nature of LLMs and VLMs, ensuring consistent quality for end-users

Requirements:

  • Systems Authority: track record of building and scaling complex backend infrastructure, ideally involving asynchronous processing or distributed systems
  • Agentic Specialization: professional experience architecting the stack for AI products, moving beyond simple API calls to complex state management
  • Engineering Rigor: expert-level fluency in Python and modern cloud infrastructure, with a focus on code quality and maintainability
