Our Objectives Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI/ML Researcher (Multimodal) to join our cutting-edge research team. This role focuses on advancing core multimodal capabilities by integrating vision, language, and other modalities, while ensuring that research outcomes are transferable to stable, enterprise-grade production systems. While our current focus includes multimodal and vision-language technologies, this role is fundamentally about using AI to solve complex problems and growing with evolving models, data modalities, and system requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with multimodal models or systems, deep expertise in at least one core AI domain (CV or NLP), and the ability to bridge research and production deployment.
Job Responsibility:
Develop AI-based solutions to solve complex, real-world problems using appropriate models and data modalities
Formulate problems, design approaches, and evaluate solutions from an end-to-end AI system perspective
Research, implement, and adapt state-of-the-art AI models (not limited to a specific modality)
Build and validate scalable AI pipelines, from data processing to model inference
Apply AI technologies—including but not limited to multimodal, CV, and NLP methods—based on problem requirements
Translate research ideas into robust, production-ready systems
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy and maintain AI solutions
Continuously learn and adopt emerging AI techniques and paradigms
