PDS Engineering team is at the forefront of deploying AI-driven tools like the ASPICE Reviewer, Functional Safety Reviewer and other AI initiatives. AI Intern will have a chance to contribute to these initiatives, helping achieve 2026 engineering efficiency targets. This isn’t just theoretical work, it’s hands-on development with measurable outcomes. AI intern will receive guidance from experienced professionals and is encouraged to contribute ideas and take initiative.
Job Responsibility:
Support the development and deployment of AI-driven tools—including the ASPICE Reviewer, and tools for Functional Safety and Cybersecurity —within the PDS (Powertrain) organization to help achieve 2026 engineering efficiency targets
Contribute to release verification, deployment planning, and training activities to ensure successful adoption of AI solutions
Collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of deployed AI tools
Coordinate agenda topics, logistics, and follow-up actions for AI/ML Committee meetings
Collaborate cross-functionally to support additional tasks and initiatives as assigned by the team
Requirements:
Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college, university, vocational/trade school
Ability to report onsite at least three days to our Auburn Hills Campus throughout the year
Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence
Proficient in Computer Language: C++, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.
Self-directed, highly motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills to drive AI innovation in the engineering development environment
