Job Description

The AI GTM Lead for UK&I in the Public Sector will be responsible for building and scaling AI-native business solutions. This senior leadership role involves engaging with clients, shaping market demand, and ensuring responsible AI practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AI, consulting, and public sector engagement.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and execute the AI strategy for public sector in the UK, aligned to NTT DATA’s enterprise AI vision
  • Build AI-native offerings and solutions tailored to public-sector-specific client needs and operating models
  • Embed AI across existing client offerings and into how clients operate, enabling scaled adoption
  • Serve as the executive AI leader for public sector, engaging senior client stakeholders, building trust and shaping market demand
  • Work with public sector Client Partners and the UK’s Growth Office to originate, structure, and close complex AI engagements
  • Work with technology partners as needed by the opportunity
  • Lead presales activities including executive presentations, solution positioning, and proposal development
  • Ensure responsible AI practices are embedded into all solutions, including transparency, security, governance, and human oversight
  • Keeping track of opportunities and client conversations in our tracking tools, primarily Salesforce

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in consulting, professional services, or industry roles with progressive leadership responsibility
  • Experience leading in projects that focus on one or more of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, AI Agents, Machine Learning and Machine Learning Ops
  • Detailed knowledge and exposure in the UK Public Sector
  • Hands-on experience in presales activities and account leadership
  • Ability to travel predominantly in the UK
  • Must hold UK Security Clearance or meet the SC clearance requirements (e.g. 5 years’ residency in the UK)
  • Experience developing and executing GTM strategies
  • Deep understanding of Gen AI technologies, ML, and NLP
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Senior-level experience leading AI, data, or digital transformation initiatives within a public sector organisation
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders

Nice to have

Fluency in Italian or German is an advantage but not a necessity
