Job Description:

Orbis is partnering with a leading global private-markets investment firm that require an AI Engineering Manager to lead their AI / automation agenda. This is an interim role with the scope to join the company permanently.

Job Responsibility:

Lead their AI / automation agenda
Own both product engineering and data engineering across a team of ~15–20 engineers (onshore + offshore)
Responsible for setting the strategy for AI and automation use cases

Requirements:

Microsoft Heavy Environment (C#/.NET and Python)
Azure-centric: Azure Data Platform, Azure Databricks, Azure data services
Comfortable across Data engineering (pipelines, data platform, AI-enabling data work)
Knows current GenAI/AI tools, frameworks, model types, public vs private model risks, compliance considerations
Financial Services background (ideally private equity/private markets)
Very strong communication and stakeholder skills
