Job Description:

At HSO, we’re seeking skilled AI Developer (Full‑Time Contractor) to design, build, and optimize intelligent solutions using Microsoft’s AI and cloud technologies. As a full‑time contractor, you will work closely with consultants, architects, and clients to deliver real business value through AI‑driven applications, agents, and integrations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on development, problem‑solving, and continuous learning within a fast‑growing AI practice, while maintaining the flexibility of a contractor engagement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and develop AI‑powered applications using Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services
  • Build, deploy, and monitor AI agents and chatbots, including Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions
  • Integrate AI capabilities into business processes using Power Platform and Dynamics 365
  • Optimize model performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Data Engineers, Consultants, Solution Architects)
  • Ensure security, privacy, and compliance across the AI development lifecycle
  • Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and Microsoft AI roadmap

Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in software or AI development
  • Strong experience with Python (SQL is a plus)
  • Hands‑on experience building, training, or integrating AI/ML models
  • Experience with REST APIs and cloud‑based architectures
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and DevOps practices
  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an agile team

Nice to have:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or similar certification
  • Experience with Azure Bot Service, Copilot Studio, or conversational AI
  • Knowledge of Responsible AI principles and AI governance
  • Exposure to enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, data platforms)
