Job Description

You will be part of a small, high-autonomy squad building the future of autonomous procurement at Vodafone. The Agentic Procurement team sits within VP&C (Vodafone Procurement & Connect) and is responsible for defining, validating and deploying AI-driven procurement agents that will transform how Vodafone and its partners source, contract and manage suppliers. This is an orchestration model: we work with external partners, all leaders in the AI space, alongside Vodafone's internal development teams, to build and deploy agent capabilities. The squad defines what gets built, ensures it is technically sound, and drives delivery. You will work alongside the VP&C Enterprise Architect (who operates across all domains) and collaborate daily with the other members of the agentic procurement squad. You are the squad's orchestration lead. Your job is to ensure that what gets defined and validated actually gets delivered — on time, to standard, and across multiple partner streams simultaneously.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the end-to-end delivery cadence for the agentic procurement programme, from sprint planning through deployment and operational handover
  • Manage dependencies, risks and blockers across concurrent partner workstreams, escalating early and with proposed solutions
  • Drive partner performance against SLAs and contractual commitments
  • Coordinate delivery governance across the Vodafone–Telenor JV, navigating multi-stakeholder decision-making across markets
  • Provide clear, honest delivery reporting to the Head of Agentic Procurement
  • Work with the AI Solution Engineer and Procurement AI Product Analyst to ensure technical validation and domain sign-off are embedded in the delivery process

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical programme management, ideally in multi-vendor or partner delivery models
  • Commercial awareness: SLA governance, partner performance management, contract compliance
  • Strong risk and dependency management across concurrent workstreams
  • Technical literacy: able to engage meaningfully with engineering teams on delivery trade-offs, architecture dependencies and integration risks
  • Clear, direct communication
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or equivalent

Nice to have

  • Programme management certifications (e.g. PMP, MSP, SAFe)
  • Experience managing AI, data or technology delivery programmes in enterprise or high-growth environments

What we offer

  • Annual Discretionary Bonus
  • Generous Annual Leave: 28 days of annual leave, with the option to buy an additional 5 days and the opportunity to carry over 5 days per year
  • 1 additional day (Family Day) for personal milestones or special occasions
  • 11 public holidays
  • 5 charity days per year
  • Flexible Work Arrangements
  • 20 days to work from abroad
  • Lunch vouchers
  • Access to private AXA health insurance and a robust pension scheme
  • Access to Vodafone University and online training resources
