Job Description

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking young talents for its AI & Data Intern role, a part-time onsite position based in Las Rozas, Madrid. The role is part of the Global AI & Data Center of Excellence, offering exposure to international projects and opportunities to contribute to developing cutting-edge AI & Data solutions globally. The internship is structured to mentor and develop individuals with strong technical potential and strategic thinking capabilities. Candidates will collaborate on internal and customer-facing initiatives in areas such as machine learning model development, data engineering pipelines, MLOps practices, and AI ecosystem software integration. Job Responsibility

Responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the project lifecycle
understand the company's technology portfolio and deliver technical design that meets customer requirements
work under supervision of the technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks
resolve technical assignments or issues independently within your technical area
work with team members to solution cross technology assignments or address complex technical issues
participate as part of a team in developing and growing good relationships with team members and customers in assigned projects
understand the company's strategy
is aware of AI and Data knowledge tools and their application
participate in technical or professional community events
keep refreshing technical knowledge and ramp up rapidly.

Requirements

Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields
undertaking master’s degree study specialized in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning or Data Science would be beneficial
knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, Java, C, Unix Shell scripting
conceptual understanding of Information Technology (IT) environments
passion for new and emerging AI and Data technologies, and ability to keep updated in technological innovations and new releases
willingness to participate in international projects
active listening skills and ability to adjust messages to audience level
communicate effectively to both technical groups and the management within the organization
problem-solving skills (proactive, reactive, and creative)
ability to identify alternatives, set priorities, and identify solutions
able to produce basic documentation that meets required standards
demonstrate understanding of assigned discipline or technical area
proactive learning aptitude and interested in developing a career in the company
teamwork skills
autonomy with the ability to organize and manage own work.
