As a AI Business development lead, you connect business needs with innovative technology. You identify market opportunities and turn them into clear sales strategies, building a strong pipeline around our OptimAI offerings. These AI solutions are grouped into two key domains: Supply Chain Optimization & Planning (forecasting, simulation, and optimization) and Smart Search & Assistance (Computer Vision, NLP, and Generative AI). You proactively explore the market and bring in new business, combining a strong hunting mindset with a consultative approach. You engage new prospects, open doors, and build lasting relationships. By analyzing customer needs and market dynamics, you shape a targeted sales approach. Together with technical teams, you co-create tailored, value-driven solutions and proposals that are both commercially compelling and technically sound. You actively represent the company at events and through networking, turning interactions into concrete opportunities. In close collaboration with marketing, you support lead generation and continuously optimize outreach and messaging. With a strong consultancy mindset and commercial drive, you understand client challenges, manage sales cycles, and contribute directly to sustainable growth.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in business or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or within a consulting environment, preferably focused on Data Science, AI, or Supply Chain Management
  • Proven drive to engage with prospects and contribute to new business development
  • Skilled in understanding and positioning complex business solutions towards diverse stakeholders
  • Able to communicate effectively with both operational teams and executive decision-makers
  • Strong analytical and consultative mindset, combined with a proactive and results-driven attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust-based relationships
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and able to take ownership in a dynamic environment
  • You're fluent in Dutch, English and French
