Job Description:

As an AI Business Consultant at NTT DATA, you will collaborate with clients to design and deliver AI-driven solutions that create business value. Your role will involve conducting business analysis, leading AI readiness assessments, and developing business cases to support AI investments. You will also facilitate stakeholder engagement and ensure compliance with ethical AI principles.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct detailed business analysis to identify opportunities for AI adoption and innovation
  • Lead AI readiness assessments, use case discovery, and prioritisation workshops with clients
  • Develop business cases and ROI models to support AI investment decisions
  • Define and document user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for AI solutions
  • Collaborate with technical specialists to ensure feasibility and alignment with business goals
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and cross-functional alignment
  • Support user research, prototyping, and testing to validate AI solutions in real-world contexts
  • Support compliance with ethical AI principles, data privacy regulations, and public sector service standards
  • Contribute to the development of AI strategy, governance frameworks, and operating models
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through AI transformation journeys

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a consulting or advisory role within a customer-facing environment
  • Understanding of AI concepts including machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI and Agentic AI
  • Advisory experience in AI for example readiness assessments, use case prioritisation, ROI modelling, ethical AI, and compliance
  • Experience in product ownership or business analysis within agile delivery teams including business process analysis and the ability to articulate clear, concise user stories
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and executive communication
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and data visualisation platforms
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and undergo necessary background checks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of responsible AI frameworks and ethical considerations in AI deployment
  • Business domain specific knowledge in sectors such as public sector, financial services, telecoms, manufacturing, energy and utilities or others
  • Experience working on AI or data-driven projects in government or regulated sectors
  • Exposure to agentic AI systems and emerging AI technologies
  • Experience with change management and organisational readiness for AI adoption
