Job Description

We are looking for an AI Business Analyst/Consultant to join a contract opportunity in Massachusetts. This role partners with business leaders, technical teams, and design stakeholders to shape operational improvements, define system needs, and support AI-driven solutions that enhance how work gets done. The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis skills, product thinking, and the ability to turn loosely defined ideas into practical plans, clear requirements, and prioritized execution.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with operational teams, leadership, engineers, and UX professionals to gather needs and convert business objectives into clearly documented initiatives
  • Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend system enhancements or AI-enabled approaches that improve business performance
  • Lead discovery conversations by asking targeted questions, uncovering missing details, and translating broad concepts into actionable requirements for development teams
  • Organize project priorities, maintain delivery plans, and help ensure work remains aligned with timelines, business goals, and stakeholder expectations
  • Create structured documentation such as process maps, user stories, feature definitions, and task breakdowns to support solution delivery
  • Collaborate with technical teams on both business systems projects and AI-focused initiatives designed to modernize operational processes
  • Support reporting and data visualization efforts by working with business intelligence tools to present insights that inform decision-making
  • Facilitate communication across cross-functional groups to keep initiatives moving forward and resolve ambiguity during the development lifecycle

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product coordination, consulting, or a related role supporting technology-driven initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to translate operational challenges into structured requirements, documented workflows, and executable plans
  • Experience working with business intelligence and reporting platforms such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
  • Familiarity with AI-related projects, process improvement efforts, or business systems development within a cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to guide discussions between technical teams and business stakeholders with varying levels of system knowledge
  • Ability to manage evolving requirements, identify gaps, and maintain momentum across multiple priorities

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Blazor or similar application development environments is preferred
  • Backgrounds involving analytical disciplines such as Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related fields may be helpful but are not required
