Requirements
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree student looking for a 1-year or 2-year apprenticeship starting September 2026 at the latest
  • Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken)
  • Comfortable navigating technical environments: you can read SQL queries to understand the scope of a data governance issue, dig into documentation, and use AI tools like Claude (Code, Cowork) and available MCPs as both a key enabler and a daily thinking partner
  • Not intimidated by engineering-grade tools: you won't write production code, but you'll use Python scripts, Dagster and GitHub Actions to build and maintain automations
  • An excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Interested in working in a transversal, fast-moving environment where functional and technical boundaries aren't always clear-cut — you enjoy mapping complexity rather than avoiding it
  • Eager to deepen your data knowledge gained from previous experiences, whether with a technical or a functional focus (both are a plus)
Job Responsibility
Job Responsibility
  • Contribute to AI-assisted governance workflows: from building an automated audit agent (e.g. via Claude Code) to auto-tag data assets, to leveraging tools like NotebookLM to generate one-pagers and videos that make governance policies land with any stakeholder
  • Own Data Governance KPIs and dashboards (Metabase) to drive gamified governance: track policy adoption, quantify the team's impact, and keep the metrics that incentivize data owners and influence governance standards company-wide
  • Simplify complexity every day by supporting cross-functional stakeholders on Data Governance topics, communicating policies and best practices across the organization, and delivering impactful internal presentations
  • Maintain the catalog as a real-time, end-to-end reflection of our data value chain: from production sources (Doctolib products, Salesforce, Zuora) to consumption in AI and analytics tools (Tableau, Metabase), in close collaboration with the Data Governance Engineer and catalog vendor
  • Run frequent user research and analyze usage metrics to prioritize the catalog roadmap and backlog
  • Drive catalog integration into Doctolib AI tools and promote adoption across all personas — success target: 200+ Monthly Active Users, with AI tool integrations via Catalog MCP as the primary adoption lever
