The AI and Analytics Manager is responsible for driving strategic innovation and excellence across automation, data science, artificial intelligence, and analytics within the organisation. This role encompasses leadership of multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the successful delivery of intelligent solutions that enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. Job Responsibility:
Define and implement the strategic vision and roadmap for automation, AI, and data science within the COE
Foster innovation by staying informed of emerging trends and making recommendations for continuous improvement
Lead, mentor, and upskill cross-functional teams of data scientists and automation developers
Promote collaboration and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions
Oversee project prioritisation, resource allocation, and timeline management, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
Manage budgets and track costs, ensuring optimal use of resources
Ensure best practices in AI, analytics, and automation are adopted and maintained
Establish compliance with data governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
Oversee the design and deployment of scalable, extensible AI and analytics solutions, ensuring integration with existing systems
Drive end-to-end delivery of automation, machine learning, and analytics projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors, to identify opportunities and deliver impactful solutions
Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-technical audiences
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for COE initiatives
Promote continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews and optimisation strategies
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years in automation, data science, or AI domains, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
Proven experience in end-to-end delivery of data-driven solutions
Strong budget management and cost tracking skills
Knowledge of the latest trends, techniques and tools in the area
Proficiency in tracking and reporting key performance indicators for initiatives
Experience in oil and gas industry essential
Excellent team leadership and mentoring capabilities
Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional leaders to drive value creation
Understanding of data governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
Effective communication skills to convey strategic direction and vision
