We’re hiring an AI Adoption, Content, and Community Manager for Government Engagement & Enablement — a builder, connector, storyteller, and super-user who lives and breathes ChatGPT and deeply understands public service. This role sits at the intersection of enablement, education, community, communications, and marketing. You will be the connective tissue between OpenAI and government practitioners around the world — helping them learn, share, teach, celebrate wins, and feel confident using AI in their day-to-day work.
Job Responsibility:
Design and deliver training & enablement
Build and steward the OpenAI for Government community
Own government-specific content and messaging
Create standout events and experiences
Champion adoption through inspiration
Operate with a systems mindset
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in technology adoption enablement and training, community management, communications, marketing, education, or related roles — ideally around AI and with complex or mission-driven organizations
Government experience or deep government adjacency (public sector roles, contractors, NGOs, civic tech, policy, or government-focused companies)
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
Proven ability to plan and run events
Comfort training and speaking to groups
A collaborative, low-ego working style
Deep curiosity and enthusiasm for AI — you are a power user of ChatGPT
Strong empathy for public servants and respect for the constraints they operate under
Ability to work cross-functionally and keep many moving pieces aligned
Nice to have:
Experience supporting large-scale technology adoption (AI) or behavior change
Familiarity with state, local, federal, or international government ecosystems
Background in education, training design, or enablement programs
Experience with event creation and management
Experience building champion networks, communities of practice, or peer-learning programs
Experience with selling and organization a business to sell, regardless of product or industry
