Job Description:

Our client is a well-established company in the insurance industry, offering commercial insurance, group benefits, and personal lines of insurance. They place a high priority on employee well-being. They are currently seeking a dedicated Agricultural Account Manager to manage accounts, cross-sell and up-sell.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage accounts while actively cross-selling and up-selling
  • Facilitate marketing and negotiate with carriers
  • Process certificates and endorsements and bind policies
  • Work independently
  • this is not a creative hire

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Agricultural / Agri-business Insurance experience
  • Local to the Portland Area or willing to relocate
  • Focus on renewals and service-focused work, with the ability to write business when referred
  • Experience with carriers such as Grange, CHUBB, Nationwide, Great American, Zurich, Farmers Mutual, etc.
