Job Description:

We are seeking a high-performing Legal Professional with a strong background in Real Estate and Litigation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of civil and criminal cases, conducting thorough property due diligence, and overseeing the end-to-end documentation of land transactions. We are looking for a candidate with a "sound personality" who can represent the firm confidently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Litigation Management: Directly handle and oversee both Civil and Criminal matters. Represent the company in various courts/tribunals and manage external counsels
  • Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence for land acquisition, including title search reports and verifying occupancy/revenue records
  • Documentation & Drafting: Prepare, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including: Sale Deeds, Agreement for Sale, and Lease Deeds. Development Agreements and Power of Attorney. Registration of documents with relevant authorities
  • Real Estate Compliance: Ensure all land-related matters comply with local state laws and RERA regulations
  • Advisory: Provide strategic legal advice to the management on potential risks and legal implications of business decisions

Requirements:

  • LLB or BALLB degree only from reputed law schools/colleges
  • Direct experience in the Real Estate sector is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of handling cases directly in court
  • Deep understanding of land laws, registration processes, and documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex negotiations
