Job Description

The Agile Scrum Master role requires over 6 years of experience in leading IT software development projects. The candidate will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with stakeholders. Preferred certifications include CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master. Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills are essential.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, coach, and mentor multiple Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software products
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Remove impediments and resolve conflicts to ensure smooth team progress and delivery
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to groom the product backlog, define user stories, and prioritize work
  • Drive continuous improvement by assessing team performance and implementing Agile best practices
  • Ensure teams follow Agile principles and company policies while adapting to changes in requirements or priorities
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders including developers, QA, business analysts, and management to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Track and communicate team metrics and progress to stakeholders and leadership
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in IT software development projects
  • 6+ years working with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience delivering software projects in a fast-paced environment
  • 4+ years of experience coaching teams and individuals on Agile principles and practices

Nice to have

  • Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master) preferred
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or similar
  • Experience working in a scaled Agile environment
  • Background in software development or QA is a plus
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to work in a remote or distributed team setup
