Job Description:

Our partner, Hungary's largest agricultural machinery manufacturing company, is looking for new colleagues for Agile Quality Engineer (Mobile – iOS & Android) position.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as a quality advocate within the mobile team, helping shape stories,acceptance criteria, and early risk discussions
  • Collaborate closely with mobile developers to test features continuously, not just at the end
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with web development teams, aligning mobile testing with shared business logic and APIs
  • Design, execute, and continuously improve exploratory, functional, and non-functional tests for mobile applications
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing strategies, tools, and team processes
  • Support test automation efforts where they add value, working closely with developers and CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyse customer defect reports to identify recurring issues, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Provide fast, actionable feedback that helps the team learn and improve
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, reviews, retrospectives)
  • Continuously learn and introduce modern testing practices into the team

Requirements:

  • Strong quality mindset and a clear drive for personal improvement
  • Solid experience as a Quality Engineer in agile, product-oriented teams
  • Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android
  • Experience with test automation for mobile apps, APIs, and integrations
  • Good understanding of mobile-specific risks (devices, OS versions, performance, usability, connectivity)
  • Experience working closely with developers and QA engineers from other teams rather than in isolation
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-team relationships, especially with web and backend teams
  • Deep understanding of agile testing principles
  • Ability to clearly communicate testing insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
