Job Responsibility:

  • AI Enablement & Strategy: Contribute to and guide the adoption of AI/ML techniques across the firmware development flow
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with firmware, system architecture, software, and QA teams to integrate AI into workflows, accelerating development and improving quality
  • Continuous Improvement: Establish metrics and processes that demonstrate AI’s impact in improving efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • AI adoption: Serve as a champion for AI adoption, mentoring teams and influencing AMD’s position as an industry leader in AI-enabled firmware

Requirements:

  • Several years in system/firmware architecture, with proven experience in AI/ML integration or enablement
  • Strong background in server and data center architectures, boot flows, secure firmware, and hardware/software interfaces
  • Proficiency in firmware development and familiarity with AI frameworks for enabling solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving organizational change or adoption of new methodologies (AI, automation, etc.)
  • Experience debugging complex CPU/FW issues, pre/post silicon development, and platform bring-up
  • Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to bridge AI, firmware, and system architecture communities
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Advanced coursework or practical experience in AI/ML preferred
