Job Description

Meta is seeking an Agency Partner to work with leading agencies in Japan to grow revenue and increase product adoption via agencies. You will be expected to own the overall business results by successfully navigating both their external organizations and across our Meta teams, prioritizing opportunities, building joint business plans, and ensuring quality execution.

Job Responsibility

  • Firmly Establish Instagram, Facebook and Threads as leading platforms for brand building and business growth among all agency stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary liaison, internal advocate, and thought leader for agency partners, with a focus on key C-level executives and influential stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver educational and inspirational programs that have a broad impact across agency teams, including media, digital, strategic planning, and creative functions
  • Provide best-in-class client service and partnership to both traditional and digital media teams within the agency
  • Execute local and regional Meta deals with agencies as needed
  • Drive growth, adoption, and advocacy of Meta’s solutions within the agency headquarters or subsidiary company portfolios, focusing on the top and most influential accounts
  • Support and educate agency teams to ensure the understanding of Meta’s value proposition and products
  • Collaborate with large enterprise sales and SMB sales teams to identify and pitch transformational opportunities to clients
  • Act as the agency’s main point of contact, directing opportunities and inquiries to the appropriate teams within Meta

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Agency, Media Sales, Consulting, and/or Online Advertising, with a focus on leading businesses or accounts
  • Understanding of Instagram, Facebook and Threads user behavior, with the ability to explain technical or complex ideas in clear, simple terms
  • Experience working in matrix organizations, effectively managing projects, with the ability to gain support from key internal cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven ability to succeed in highly dynamic and rapidly changing environments
  • Evidenced success in good communication, critical thinking, and presentation skills
  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
