Join us at Barclays as an Agency Loan Servicing Specialist, where you will support our Wholesale Lending team with day-to-day loan processing, transaction review, reporting, trade settlements and issue resolution. This is a dynamic role that requires precision, collaboration and an ample understanding of loan operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support with day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise
  • Monitoring the bank’s lending operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with relevant regulatory requirements
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes
  • Development and implementation of Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency
  • Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in syndicated loan structures, agency roles, and the full lifecycle of syndicated lending, including servicing platforms like ACBS and Loan IQ
  • Proven ability to manage operational projects, streamline workflows, and lead issue resolution across internal and external stakeholders
  • Skilled in defining and reporting operational metrics and risk indicators, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
  • Deep understanding of payment processing, financial transaction verification, and strengthening control frameworks within loan servicing operations

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to manage workflows, prioritise tasks, and support change initiatives effectively
