The Mexico Advertising Team is a key growth engine for the business, and we’re looking to accelerate that momentum with a strategic, commercially savvy leader. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Head of Uber Advertising, Mexico. You will be responsible for scaling and deepening partnerships with major brands and top-tier media agencies, while shaping the future of Uber’s advertising business in one of our most dynamic and exciting markets. As the Uber Advertising Agency Team Lead, you will lead a high-performing team of experienced Agency Client Partners who own revenue growth and strategic account management across leading media agencies (Big 5), agency partners, platforms, and their clients.
Job Responsibility:
Own and deliver agency revenue targets, maintaining a strong focus on business impact, quality of execution, and customer success
Maintain a clear and accurate view of revenue forecasting, pipeline health, and team performance metrics
Build and nurture deep, senior-level partnerships across agencies, partners, and major brands
Train, coach, and develop a high-performing ad sales team with subject-matter expertise across key verticals
Partner with Product, Marketing, Measurement, and Operations teams to build and customize Uber’s advertising solutions and go-to-market strategies for top customers
Lead regular executive-level meetings with agency leadership to establish, track, and deliver Joint Business Plans and Annual Commitments
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within the advertising or media industry
A well-established network of senior relationships across Mexico’s media agencies and brand advertisers
Proven experience leading digital ad sales teams, with a strong track record across both agency and brand clients
Deep expertise in digital advertising, including programmatic, display, video, mobile, and performance media
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
Strong capability to build, audit, and optimize sales processes, clearly articulating challenges and growth opportunities
Solid knowledge of digital and mobile advertising ecosystems
Nice to have:
Experience within a large digital advertising publisher or media technology platform
People management experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance development
Exceptional written communication skills and executive-level storytelling ability
