The Agency & Trust team provides innovative banking solutions to financial institutions, corporate clients, and public sector entities around the world. The business offers a full range of agency, fiduciary, tender and exchange, depository and escrow services in both developed and emerging markets. The Product Specialist is a senior level position responsible for the negotiation and implementation of our client's transactions within the Agency & Trust Team.
Job Responsibility:
Lead negotiations and implementation process of Agency & Trust Clients' contracts
Execution and closing syndicated loan agreements
Liaise and coordinate pre-closing requirements with internal and external clients
Attend work meetings with clients and any parties involved in the structure
Work with Corporate Bank officers and professionals
Responsible for requesting and coordinating support to internal areas
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
Obtain sign off on contracts from parties involved
Verify that all precedent conditions and approvals have been obtained
Handle the contract signing process
Coordinate with other teams internally and externally
Conduct meetings to discuss transactions
Prepare checklists: deal implementation, documentation and transaction checklists
Collaborate with Product and Sales Managers on structuring business deals
Serve as main point of contact for client and business
Participate in Deal Review, Sales, Product, RM meetings
Perform follow-ups on documentation and deferrals
Respond to escalation questions
Provide insight on best practices around policies and procedures
Requirements:
Knowledge Issuer Services (Agency & Trust)
5 years banking experience
Knowledge of the fiduciary and syndicated loans products
Proven business engagement skills
Experience of successfully interacting with external and internal clients at all levels
Teamwork, communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work when the situation requires immediate action and manage deadlines or unexpected changes
Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated analytical and influencing skills to negotiate
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Fluency in both Spanish and English
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to collaborate across departments
Ability to create connections with client
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Law or Economic areas (Accounting, Administration, Economics, Finance, or related areas)

Experience: committee presentations, follow-up with operations and tax / Know about trust contracts / Direct dealing with clients / Know about AML
