Job Description

Southern Cross has been supporting people in their communities throughout NSW, QLD, SA, VIC, and ACT since 1984. We arrange the provision of an extensive range of aged support and disability services for people in their own home and community. Southern Cross is seeking motivated, caring, and committed people to provide support to assist people living in their own homes to enable independence. Team members receive support to achieve the skills required to deliver individualised disability support services – a great opportunity to improve and enhance your skills or transition from a different industry. Support Work is an important and rapidly expanding industry with high levels of satisfaction and security.

Job Responsibility

  • Assistance with personal care tasks including showering, toileting, grooming, and dressing

  • Domestic assistance

  • Community participation

  • Current references
  • Mobile phone
  • Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
  • NDIS Worker's Clearance or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
  • Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent
