Job Description:

As a Casual Aged Care Assessor you will work as part of the Aged Care Assessment team, undertaking detailed individualised assessments and care planning for eligible older clients.

Job Responsibility:

Undertaking detailed individualized assessments and care planning for eligible older clients

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (currently registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia) or Allied Health Professional (with current registration with their respective National Board) or eligible for membership of relevant professional association
  • Strong assessment and clinical skills and demonstrated experience in an aged care or community setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that support patient care, team engagement and collaboration
  • A willingness to think outside the square and think creatively to achieve the best possible client and program outcomes
  • Demonstrated flexibility to change and adapt with program and organizational requirements
