Responsible for AGE shop production operations. Coordinates with the AGE Manager to ensure production and operational goals are accurate and properly implemented. Supervises work activities, trains, inspects, and evaluates all AGE employees as directed by the AGE Manager. Reviews and documents programs associated with maintenance operations within the AGE shop. Ensures all work is accomplished in accordance with USAF/Amentum technical data, quality assurance, and safety standards as part of ISO 9001 programs.
Job Responsibility:
Directs and coordinates production efforts of Lead AGE Mechanics
Primary trainer on programs and equipment related to AGE Department
Prepares and completes applicable documentation as necessary
Inspects the operation, troubleshooting, and repairs, of Lead AGE Mechanics
Prepares and documents personnel performance evaluations for AGE Department
Performs supervisor review on all completed forms after maintenance actions
Counsel employees as necessary or as directed by the AGE Manager
Perform required departmental inspections and audits using current SOPs and WIs
Inspects service and maintenance, as required, on all in use assets
Conduct training evaluations and ensure all training records are properly maintained
May be required to operate material handling equipment
Conforms to all USAF and company safety, hazardous material, and quality standards
Performs TDY in the area of operation as required by USAF and company tasking
Prepares reports on production and man-hour utilization for submission to the AGE Manager for review and analysis
Implements programs and develops tracking methods as directed by the Manager
Candidate must perform all duties of the AGE Superintendent in his/her absence
Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements:
Five years' experience with AGE and training to USAF Craftsman or equivalent preferred
Ability to repair and maintain gasoline, diesel and gas turbine engines
Ability to review electrical and electronic systems using wiring diagrams and schematics
Practical experience of flow charts used to maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems
A minimum of one-year experience in a supervisory role with a maintenance organization is required
Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs
Must possess a valid US driver’s license
Completed training on AGE maintenance from military technical school or an accredited technical school/college/university
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust U.S. Government Clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
