Job Description:

Our partner is a major Chinese automotive group, currently expanding its presence through regional import partners. To provide technical expertise for their operations in Hungary, they are looking for a Service Engineer in Budapest.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing 2nd-level technical support across the CEE distributors via phone, email and onsite visits when necessary
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting
  • Create and localize repair guides
  • Communicating effectively with service technicians, customers and representatives of the dealer network and distributors
  • Hold regular technical meetings with distributors to review issues, updates
  • Deliver presentations to dealers and distributors on technical topics

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering
  • Experience in automotive servicing
  • 5+ years automobile technical support work experience with proven track records in CEE
  • Knowledge of CEE regional regulatory requirements on warranty, service pack and etc.
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and travel when needed (1-2x/week)
