Job Description

Aftersales customer services agent - Required for this well known travel company based in North London. They are looking for a experienced travel person ideally with GDS knowledge to work in this busy aftersales team. They will pay up to £28,0000 + up to £5,000 comm and benefits.

Job Responsibility

  • To answer all calls in a courteous and professional manner within the departmental standards
  • To deal with all telephone and email queries post reservation and general queries
  • To amend or cancel reservations as a result of incoming enquiries. To include amending dates, upgrading tickets, route changes, name changes, refunds and seat/meal requests
  • To amend hotel, car hire and transfer reservations
  • To action ETA's (visa's), API's, Mobility Forms within set timeframes
  • To work to set targets and ensure efficient customer care handling
  • Ability to make decisions in a pressurised environment
  • Computer Literate – to be able to use a variety of applications
  • GDS(galileo),Outlook and possibly word/excel

Requirements

  • Travel industry experience is a must with in a sales , customer service or administration team
  • Ideally GDS trained, galileo would be a major advantage
