Job Description:

An opportunity to work with a fast-growing manufacturing company in Scarborough, specializing in sheet metal assembly with a focus on quality, safety, and growth. Suitable for individuals with prior manufacturing experience, keen to develop skills and contribute to a stable and innovative workplace.

Job Responsibility:

Working with different metal/steel products, moving, taping, arranging, labelling, lifting
materials handling including unloading, breakdown/dismantle, transfer of metal/powder-coated products securely
maintaining high standards of security, health and safety processes
supporting machine operators and team leads on general tasks
tapping, measuring, painting and coating multiple metal/steel products
sorting and grading various materials
individual quality control and preparing/packaging materials.

Requirements:

1+ years of experience in manufacturing
legally entitled to work in Canada for full-time hours
frequent lifting/bending, squatting and prolonged standing
general labour or manufacturing experience
ability to sustain constant physical activity levels
steel-toed safety boots
experience using basic power tools/machine operation
comfortable working in a hot environment
ability to lift 50 lbs./23 kg at a time comfortably
problem solving and attention to detail
manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
punctual
strong focus on safety
works well in a team, accountability and dependability
ability to follow assigned work instructions.
