Job Description:

A warm and respectful family in Parkdale, VIC are seeking a calm, kind, and reliable afternoon nanny to support their two daughters aged 8 and 9 years. This role would suit someone who enjoys structured afternoons, supporting children with routines, homework, and extracurricular activities, and who values creating a positive and nurturing after-school environment.

Job Responsibility:

Walk to the local school (4-minute walk) for pick-up
Supervise and support homework and after-school routines
Transport the children to extracurricular activities, including: Swimming at Mentone Aquatic Centre (7-minute drive), Dance at Shine Dance Studio, Moorabbin (12-minute drive), Athletics at Mentone Athletics Club (8-minute walk)
Provide a calm, supportive, and respectful presence in the afternoons
Potential to extend each shift by up to one additional hour to assist with light household tasks prior to school pick-up

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a nanny or in a childcare-related role
Current Working With Children Check
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Full driver’s licence
Own car preferred (family may provide a vehicle for the ideal candidate if required)
Non-smoker
Strong English communication skills
