Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment within a school facility we manage. This role is essential to supporting the health, safety, and overall experience of students, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine and thorough cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational protocols. The position offers flexible scheduling across two available shifts during term time, with opportunities for long-term engagement and benefits including 13 weeks of holiday per year and pension contributions. This is a vital role for maintaining a positive and hygienic school environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Clean and sanitise designated areas, including restrooms, offices, classrooms, and common spaces
  • Dust surfaces, furniture, and fixtures to maintain a polished appearance
  • Vacuum and mop floors regularly, adapting to different flooring types
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers, ensuring waste is managed responsibly
  • Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essential materials
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly
  • Follow all established safety procedures and health protocols
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and reliable presence at all times
