Job Description

Join our Aftermarket Services team in this exciting role! As an Aftermarket Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for providing engineering support and development of solutions for the global valve aftermarket service and repair business. This position will proactively interact with new and existing customers to understand their needs and expectations for service, repair, and upgrade/retrofit opportunities for all our valve product lines. This will include working with both global leadership and regional technical, commercial & engineering teams to develop customer relationships, generate leads, define and quantify the technical opportunity, all to achieve the specified sales and business targets. The scope of the role will focus on driving sales & revenue growth across the Valve Service business lines in the areas of technical improvements and performance upgrades to both our own and our competitors' critical and severe service products, which will include validating world-class value-driven proposals, supporting/coaching the aftermarket commercial operation teams to ensure consistent proposals are produced across all Celeros facilities. Success in this role requires a comprehensive understanding of control valve and specialist isolation valve applications and operational issues across multiple industries (and power generation and oil & gas), and customer needs, combined with a technical understanding of the costing, sourcing & manufacturing aspects of upgrading and retrofitting valves.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or demonstrable experience within the valve sector for Aftermarket service, including upgrades and retrofits
  • 8+ years related experience
  • Experience in the oil & gas / power & energy / industrial market
  • Prior experience in Client Interface & Win Strategies - Value Proposition
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
