Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Aftercare Engineer to join our clients growing team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or electrical engineering background and experience within a manufacturing environment. You will provide both technical and administrative support across all Aftercare activities, maintaining regular communication with our global customer handling enquiries, identifying needs, and preparing detailed proposals for all products. You will join a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional customer support and driving revenue growth through high-quality service, solutions, and technical expertise.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver a professional and timely response to customer enquiries
  • Provide technical and commercial support, including spare parts identification, drawings, parts lists, and general assistance
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities, securing enquiries and converting them into orders
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate commercial terms for repairs, refurbishments, upgrades, and modpacks
  • Ensure accurate and consistent data entry into ERP (Epicor) and CRM (Salesforce) systems to support business processes
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, coordinating resources to ensure successful delivery
  • Collaborate with the Head of Commercial on initiatives to increase opportunities in spare parts, reconditioning, upgrades, and contract sales
  • Support costing activities within the procurement framework, including sourcing components to maximise margin
  • Work in accordance with company procedures, guidelines, and standards
  • Carry out additional tasks as required, within the scope of the role

Requirements:

  • Mechanical or electrical engineering background
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems
  • Previous experience in an Aftercare / customer support environment

Nice to have:

  • International import/export experience
  • CAD experience
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Additional language skills (French or Spanish)
