Job Description:

A loving and close-knit family based in Northcote, VIC is seeking an experienced and confident nanny to assist in the care of their two daughters, aged 8 and 10 years. The family values connection, creativity, and a balanced approach to routine and play, and they are looking for a nanny who will become a positive and engaging presence in the children’s daily lives. This is a part-time, after-school position, working 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 2:00pm – 7:00pm).

Job Responsibility:

Provide attentive care, following the children’s routines
School pick-ups and transport to activities as required
Engage the children in age-appropriate play and activities
Encourage and support homework completion
Prepare snacks and meals for the children (with guidance if required)
Assist with general tidying and light household tasks related to the children

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a nanny or in childcare
Confident working with school-aged children
Warm, engaging, and able to build strong, positive relationships
Able to balance fun and play with structure and expectations
Strong communication skills and fluent English
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Current Working With Children Check
Non-smoker
Pet-friendly

Nice to have:

Musical ability (a bonus, as the children learn flute and piano)
