The Affordable Housing Manager oversees leasing, compliance, and resident management within affordable housing programs. This role ensures adherence to HUD, LIHTC, and local agency regulations and supports a positive resident experience.
Job Responsibility:
Manage leasing activities, applicant screening, and unit turnover
Oversee annual and interim certifications/recertifications for compliance
Maintain accurate documentation for HUD, LIHTC, and regulatory audits
Coordinate inspections, compliance reviews, and property reporting
Address resident inquiries, rent issues, and community concerns
Partner with property management and maintenance teams on operations
Requirements:
2+ years of affordable housing or property management experience
Working knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and local housing program guidelines
Strong organizational and compliance-driven mindset
Excellent communication and resident relations skills
