Job Responsibility

Create engaging affiliate shopping content for DevonLive, CornwallLive, PlymouthLive, BristolLive, SomersetLive and GloucestershireLive
Publish revenue generating video, social media, written form and other multimedia content including affiliate links
Write engaging and informative reviews and social content covering shopping areas including home goods, beauty, tech, fashion, cleaning
Find new and innovative ways to promote content off-platform especially around major affiliate opportunities including Black Friday, concert launches, Amazon Prime Day
Research, write and publish high quality articles, first person video reviews, live blogs and buying guides
Utilise analytical tools including Trackonomics, Chartbeat, Google Trends to identify opportunities for commercial content
Create and implement content plans to drive traffic
Meet daily revenue targets
Work shifts on a rota basis including some evenings and weekends

Work closely with the larger editorial commerce team to determine which commerce pitches should be assigned to freelancers
Part of the core editorial team strategizing coverage for tentpole shopping events like Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday
Participate in commerce meetings to further growth, including: metrics analysis, story performance, future story ideas and promotions
