Affiliates Writer to join the Manchester Evening News team reporting on all things Tech & Gaming. Publish engaging and revenue generating content including affiliate links that provide readers with up to date and honest reviews about trending products, new releases and deals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Write engaging and informative reviews and social content specialising in Tech & Gaming
  • Find new and innovative ways to promote content off-platform around major affiliate opportunities
  • Research, write and publish high quality articles, reviews, live blogs and buying guides
  • Utilise analytical tools to identify opportunities for commercial content
  • Create and implement content plans to drive traffic and meet daily revenue targets
  • Work shifts on a rota basis including some evenings and weekends

Requirements:

  • NCTJ qualified journalist or equivalent
  • UK media law knowledge
  • Proven experience in a fast paced digital newsroom environment
