Job Description:

This is a key strategic role responsible for supporting performance and profitability on the Aetna pharmacy team by driving high-performance pharmacy management across all Aetna lines of businesses. This position will collaborate with the strategy & operations and cross-functional teams to identify data-driven insights for day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and addressing specific business performance issues.

Job Responsibility:

Support performance and profitability on the Aetna pharmacy team by driving high-performance pharmacy management across all Aetna lines of businesses
Collaborate with strategy & operations and cross-functional teams to identify data-driven insights
Manage strategic relationship between Aetna and Caremark, ensuring contract execution
Identify opportunities to enhance data modeling techniques
Optimize data collation and interpretation
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to support decision-making
Expand and maintain KPI metrics dashboards
Create executive-level presentations
Leverage various internal and external data sources to build management process
Apply project management/organizational skills to execute contracting changes
Develop strategic relationships with all Aetna LOBs
Develop creative technical solutions to incorporate efficiencies

Requirements:

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in finance or other data-driven roles within a healthcare environment
Experience in SAS, SQL, GCP (must have ability to write code to manipulate data)
Ability to think creatively and use multiple data sources to assess and develop business strategies
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
Ability to collaborate with experts from other teams to better understand issues/drivers
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel)
Experience with large and detailed data sets
Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of work experience and education

Nice to have:

Experience in pharmacy-related work
Business knowledge of different Aetna segments and how unique components within each line of business impact P&L performance
