The Aesthetician is responsible for delivering safe and effective treatments to clients while providing an exceptional customer experience. This role includes performing laser-based or aesthetic procedures, educating clients on skincare and post-treatment care, and maintaining compliance with medical and organizational standards.
Job Responsibility:
Perform non-invasive treatments, including laser therapies
Assess client eligibility for treatments
Administer treatments with precision and care
Maintain detailed and accurate client treatment records
Educate clients on benefits, risks, and post-treatment care
Build trust and rapport with clients
Deliver exceptional customer service
Address client concerns promptly
Partner with clinic team to maintain clean, organized environment
Communicate effectively with clinic staff
Support clinic goals by promoting additional services
Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards
Regularly inspect and maintain equipment
Stay updated on industry best practices
Participate in training sessions
Assist with special events
Provide mentorship to new staff
Assist with administrative tasks
Support other team members
Collaborate with clinic leadership
Participate in quality assurance initiatives
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted Aesthetician license in the state of employment
Laser Certification (as required by state regulations)
Physical ability for long periods of sitting & standing and lifting/moving inventory
Must be available and able to work weekends (sat AND sun) regularly
Must have a minimum of 3 days available to work per week (one must be a Friday or Monday)
Must be available to work during Clinic Operating Hours
Must be able to work a minimum of 1 day per week
Must be able to commit to a schedule made 60 days in advance
Ability to reliably commute to home clinic location & periodically travel to other clinics for coverage
Nice to have:
Experience with appointment scheduling platforms such as Zenoti or comparable tools
Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, customer service, or sales
Continuing education in aesthetics or skincare
Prior experience in a clinical or aesthetic setting
Knowledge of skin types, treatment indications, and pre/post-care requirements
Advanced interpersonal skills
