Job Description:

The Aerostructrures Solutions Designer, will join the Airbus Aerostructure Digital team as a solution designer and be an integral part of growing and supporting Airbus Aerostructure in its journey and will be responsible for the life cycle, capacity, availability and security of technical platforms and multiple applications. The selected candidate is responsible for leading the architecture deliverables for Airbus Aerostructures (ASA).

Job Responsibility:

  • Accountable for ARD (Architecture Dossier) writing following Airbus Central architectural process and guidelines
  • Promotes the implementation of Standard way of working as per Airbus IM Standards at Airbus Aerostructures (ASA) IM with optimisation considering the scope of ASA
  • Partners with IM teams and Business Departments for understanding the background of applications.at ASA to ensure proper design and implementation of solutions projects in the frame of local, division wide or group wide initiatives
  • Supports the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy and technical debt, and recommends solutions for improvement
  • Ensures compliance with Airbus IM applications standards, security standards & evolving cyber security requirements
  • Capitalise on Project and Solution architecture challenges of his/her domain to propose Architecture discipline improvement
  • Ensure IM landscape Integration and Operational viability of new products, defining and supporting Operation Conditions of Success (means, skills, process …) with Product / Project teams to guarantee Product Robustness, Scalability, Performance and Security

Requirements:

  • Experience with IT Architecture Documentation
  • Drive the adherence of Architecture to Airbus Patterns via the ARD Review Process
  • Independently work with the solution architects of different domains to obtain the necessary inputs for technical documentation and reviews
  • At least 8+ years of overall experience working across multiple platforms and technologies with a proven ability to design scalable and cost-effective Solutions
  • Experience in UMLs, Architecture Modeling(ARIS) and Archimate
  • Must demonstrate experience in shopfloor, Infrastructure, business and Security solution design and delivery
  • Strong knowledge of Airbus IM standards and Airbus Policies and Procedures
  • Understanding of Hosting, Cloud, Network, Cybersecurity , Identity and Access Management, Extended Enterprise
  • Understanding of security by design principles, architecture level security, API security, and Zero Trust security concepts
  • Working knowledge and experience of security solutions, IT compliance and risk management (security, privacy, SOX, HIPPA, etc.) and Security Information & Event Management
  • Very good English skills necessary for Technical Business Documentation
  • International experience and experience in working with multicultural teams
  • Ability to adapt in a permanent changing environment
  • High level of Soft skills: conflict management, stakeholder management
  • Inspires trust, demonstrates flexibility, encourages frequent open communications and welcomes feedback

Nice to have:

Knowledge of the German language is a plus
