Job Description

PPG's Aerospace Business is looking for a Quality Compliance Supervisor to join our team in Mojave! As the Quality Compliance Supervisor, you will support the Site Quality Manager in maintaining the effectiveness of the Mojave Quality Management System and ensuring compliance with AS9100, Nadcap, and customer-specific aerospace requirements. You will also oversee site compliance activities including audits, corrective actions, document control, and training systems while supervising quality personnel supporting the compliance function. This is an onsite position in our Mojave, CA facility and reporting to the Site Quality Manager.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and manage the Mojave site Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with AS9100, Nadcap, and customer requirements
  • Coordinate and oversee internal audits, external audits, and certification activities
  • Manage site processes for internal NCRs, customer complaints, and corrective actions, ensuring timely investigation and closure
  • Oversee document control, training compliance, calibration programs, and record retention systems
  • Maintain and support quality system software and documentation systems (ETQ, quality records, test sheets, reports)
  • Coordinate with site leadership to support quality improvement initiatives and process compliance
  • Supervise and develop Quality Technicians and Specialists supporting the compliance function
  • Allocate resources and direct activities to meet compliance, operational, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of quality management or compliance experience required
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
  • Knowledge of AS9100 required
  • Knowledge of Nadcap and experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred
