Inside the Engineering department (E) and in particular in the Systems General Studies service (EYG) your mission will be to participate to the systems’ safety analyses on all the aircraft systems following the guidelines provided by ARP 4754(A) and ARP 4761.
Job Responsibility:
Writing and updating of safety analyses
Determining the safety requirements to be provided to equipment/system suppliers
Discussions with certification authorities
Attending projects review meetings after reviewing/approving projects’ deliverables
Update existing Safety Documents
Provide support to the airworthiness service in the definition of in-service events severity in line with systems’ designers
Provide support to the scheduled maintenance service, namely in the justifications for the Time Limits document.
Requirements:
Experience in certification
Good knowledge of Certification Specifications JAR/FAR/CS 25, CS E and CS P and of the development standards (DO, ARP, …)
In-depth knowledge of: CS/AMC 25.1309, ARP 4754(A) and ARP 4761
Systems safety analyses (FHA, PSSA, SSA)
Fault trees/dependence diagrams modeling
Common Cause Analyses (ZSA, PRAs, CMA)
FMEA/FMES
Equipment reliability issues and associated computations
Aircraft systems architecture and in particular critical ones, installation and segregation/separation rules and system development process
Knowledge of at least one fault tree/dependence diagram software tool. SARAA software tool knowledge will be appreciated.
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate with various parties (External: authorities, partners, suppliers ... - Internal: designers, airworthiness monitoring, production, quality, purchasing ...) and in a multicultural environment.
