The Aeromechanical Engineer must be a highly motivated, hands-on, self-driven team player that has the ability to perform in a dynamic prototyping environment. The preferred candidate will be able to bring a fresh perspective to the design team and have a strong desire for innovation.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and analyze mechanical systems for aircraft and spacecraft, including engines, airframes, and avionics
Conduct simulations, testing, and prototyping to validate designs and ensure they meet performance and safety requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and systems engineers, to integrate mechanical systems into larger aerospace systems
Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential mechanical failures
Design and oversee the manufacturing and assembly processes of mechanical components, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards
Maintain accurate documentation of designs, processes, and test results
Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis
Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices

Requirements:
Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures
Understanding of regulatory and industry standards, such as FAA regulations, AS9100, and ISO 9001
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
0-3 years of experience in aerospace or a related industry
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required
Nice to have:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
