We’re looking to hire an AEO Manager to lead a healthcare technology organization’s evolution in AI-driven search by building its B2B AI search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy from the ground up. This role combines strategic vision, technical SEO expertise, hands-on execution, and cross-functional leadership. You’ll partner closely with content, product marketing, and PR teams to reshape how content is created and apply AI optimization techniques such as schema markup, passage-level optimization, and digital PR to ensure the brand thrives in the era of generative AI. Using research, data, and experimentation, you’ll define and execute new content and optimization frameworks with a singular goal: ensure the organization’s brand and content are highly visible, accurately represented, and positively positioned in AI-generated answers across platforms.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the research, strategy development, and execution of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) initiatives
Drive brand visibility and discoverability across generative AI platforms through on-page and off-page optimization strategies
Design, test, and scale AEO-optimized content structures for webpages, blogs, review listings, and emerging content formats
Own technical AEO efforts, including log file analysis, robots directives, schema and structured data, and Core Web Vitals optimization
Conduct deep analysis of prompts, AI platforms, competitors, and search landscapes
Build and maintain AEO visibility tracking, delivering biweekly performance insights and actionable recommendations
Manage strategy, execution, and reporting for traditional SEO alongside AEO initiatives
Advise and guide marketing teams through emerging shifts in consumer behavior driven by agentic AI, ambient AI, and future innovations
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in SEO and content strategy, including both hands-on execution and strategic leadership
5+ years of proven success driving revenue through data-driven digital marketing initiatives
1+ year of demonstrated AI expertise, with a strong understanding of LLMs, prompting, and generative AI platforms
3+ years of experience translating marketing analytics into clear, actionable insights
3+ years of expertise in keyword research and strategic content planning
3+ years of experience using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms
3+ years of experience working with website technologies and CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, or equivalent
