Job Responsibility:
Develop Adobe AEM Sites components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and related features to support enhancement work across the AEM as a Cloud Service platform
Extend AEM capabilities by integrating with internal and external systems using REST APIs, service classes, and standard AEM extension points within the cloud-based architecture
Troubleshoot issues across the AEM stack - including author, publish, and dispatcher layers - collaborating with senior engineers and platform teams as needed
Design and implement backend features leveraging AEM’s OSGi framework, Sling models, servlets, services, and third-party APIs
Apply context-aware configurations to ensure scalable, maintainable, and efficient code
Create and implement test case executing using JUnit, Mockito and AEM Testing frameworks
Support migration of websites from legacy platforms to AEM Cloud, ensuring smooth transition and optimized performance
Implement caching strategies, dispatcher configurations, and domain mapping to maintain responsive and reliable AEM website performance
Follow established development and operational processes, while identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and consistency in AEM-related delivery
Requirements:
Master's degree
Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of experience on AEM development
Deep expertise and hands-on experience with AEM backend capabilities such as OSGi, Sling models, servlets, services, and integration with third-party APIs
Strong knowledge of context-aware configurations, client libraries, workflows, HTL and debugging on AEM cloud
Experience with website migration projects from legacy platforms to AEM Cloud
Familiarity with caching mechanisms, dispatcher configurations, and domain mapping for high-performance AEM websites
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across the AEM stack (author, publish, dispatcher)
Solid understanding of REST API integration and cloud-based architecture patterns
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with senior engineers, platform teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
Commitment to following and improving established development and operational processes for consistent delivery
Nice to have:
Front-end development experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular
Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment strategies
Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, or other Adobe Experience Cloud products
Knowledge of SEO best practices and accessibility standards in web development
Adobe AEM certifications is a plus
Strong documentation and communication skills to support technical and non-technical stakeholders
