Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent, proactive, and "quirky" AEM Author to join a collaborative internal team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our digital content execution, leveraging Adobe Experience Manager to edit, upload, and manage high-volume web content. This is a fast-paced environment where you will manage a steady stream of tickets, coordinate with developers, and ensure our online presence is seamless.

Job Responsibility:

  • Content Operations: Execute the placement of content and assets for internal and external websites using AEM
  • Manage the full lifecycle of webpage modification, from creation to deletion
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve content-related issues, collaborating closely with IT and engineering teams (typically 2-3 developers per ticket) to ensure successful deployments
  • Process Improvement: Serve as a subject matter expert on content management, suggesting updates to procedural documentation and identifying efficiencies in the workflow
  • Collaboration: Actively participate in frequent team meetings and work closely with internal partners to meet evolving business needs
  • Perform all the authoring operations by leveraging the content management system (CMS) to edit, upload, delete, and manage content used online
  • Manages development of content and asset requirements to execute creation of new or modification of existing webpages
  • Executes the placement of content and assets for internal and external websites using content management system
  • Collaborates with internal partners to meet business needs
  • Identifies, evaluates, and resolves issues
  • Troubleshoots content related issues
  • Identifies improvements and efficiency opportunities in support of business needs and serves as subject matter expert on content management
  • Creates and suggests updates to procedural documentation for webpage management processes
  • Maintains broad awareness of changing technology, applications, trends, client needs, and legislative changes to proactively support creation and testing of marketing/communication content
  • Documents procedures and determines impact of content delivery across different channels and business areas
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Minimum of two years related work experience
  • Experience authoring webpages and administering digital assets using Adobe Experience Manager
  • Experience authoring in other content management systems (CMS) and digital asset management systems (DAM) a plus
  • Technical Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML is required
  • Workflow Management: Experience working within high-volume ticketing systems
  • ability to manage tasks efficiently (averaging 30 minutes per ticket)
  • Soft Skills: You are a self-starter who thinks "outside the box" to solve problems
