Job Description

The Advisory Operations Manager will play a foundational role in shaping the operational backbone of Savvy’s tech-enabled wealth management business. In this high-impact role, you will operate in a highly dynamic environment, responsible for overseeing the systems, processes, and relationships that support Savvy’s Advisor team and end clients. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Product, Engineering, Design and Compliance, to continuously ensure operational excellence across all systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Billing: Manage daily new account billing setup and partner with team lead to manage the monthly billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversight of Reporting Systems: Ensure data integrity and effective management of Savvy’s internal reporting systems
  • Custodian Relationships: Oversee and maintain relationships with custodians (Schwab, Fidelity, Interactive Brokers), helping drive administrative functions and onboarding new custodians as necessary
  • Special Projects: Act as the project manager for special initiatives, including advisor transitions and system unlocks
  • Efficiency Improvements: Drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency, implementing best practices across advisory operations
  • AI Adoption: Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation within advisory operations to improve process efficiency, data quality, and overall operational effectiveness

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Advisory Operations within a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with key wealth management platforms and custodians such as Orion, AdvicePay, Schwab, and Fidelity, with the capability to manage and optimize these systems for seamless operations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of driving cross-functional collaboration with Product, Compliance, and Advisory teams to implement systematic improvements and solve complex operational challenges
  • Experience in managing and executing billing processes, with a demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations
  • Ability to leverage AI and automation in daily processes and in projects
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with custodians and third-party vendors, ensuring smooth administration and onboarding of new partners
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for ownership and accountability, eager to make a meaningful impact on the firm’s growth and operational success
